Basic Crimping with cable wire

Things you'll need:

• Half Round (chain nose) pliers


• Flush cutters


• Cable wire


• Crimps


• Clasp


• Closed Ring

Instruction:

1. Measure the desired length of your wire and add several inches, then cut.

2. String a crimp onto the wire.

3. Then, string on your clasp or closed ring.

4. Take the end of the wire and thread it back through just the crimp bead.

5. Hold the clasp or closed ring in one hand, pull the excess wire until the clasp reaches the crimp bead.

6. Using a half round plier, pinch the crimp bead flat.   Cut off excess wire as close to the crimp bead as possible, or thread back through the last few beads and cut.
